Virginia Has Slugs

As you know, I, your mommy, grew up in the Pacific Northwest where it rains more than it doesn't. Slugs love it damp, so there are a lot of slugs in the NW. Gramma VH didn't like them so close to the door when we were kids, so we killed them with salt and watched them shrivel up. I never ever ever saw one in the house. A couple weeks ago, I found a slug sliming down your playroom wall, which is, of course, in Virginia. I've never seen a slug do this anywhere in the world:

This morning I was sittin' there with you whilst you ate breakfast and looked out at what I thought was a dead leaf caught in spider's dead web. Look closer!

IT'S A SLUG! Hanging by its slime! I grabbed the camera.

This is Mr. Slug doing curls to the left...

On a happier note, I'm 463 months old today. That's 19 times older than you and 77 times older than Joey. Enjoy your youth, kiddo!
